Happy New Year! I rung in 2016 surrounded by loved ones at home. After a few years of unsuccessful attempts to attend the festivities Uptown here in the Queen City, we decided it was best to hang out at home. The Mr picked up dinner from our favorite restaurants, I baked cookies with the kids and we watched movies. We almost missed counting in the New Year with the ball drop by 25 seconds. Thank goodness for my mom's text.
Anyways, I couldn't let this day without saying thank you. Thank you to those who are continuing to support YUMMommy in 2016 and to those who supported me throughout 2015 and to those supporters who have yet to stumble across my blog. YUMMommy is turning six in a few days and all I can think about is what an awesome ride this all has been.
I've met some amazing people, gotten work with some of my favorite brands and learned a few life/business lessons along the way. My family and I can't wait to see what awaits us this year. I look forward connecting with and bringing y'all along on the ride.

Your family is so beautiful! Happy New Year sweetie. My plans got canceled as my husband decided to spend it with his friends instead of me. But oh well... such as life right? LOL anyways, I hope 2016 is an amazing year for you
