5 On Friday

Hello Friday! It's after midnight and I'm up with a certain little guy who should have been asleep hours ago.  Guess that afternoon gave him more energy than I thought.  And maybe, the fact that he had a sippy cup of sweet tea didn't help either.  Oh, well...I thought I'd use this time while I'm up waiting for him to fall asleep to share my five randoms this week.

I can't decide what we're having for Thanksgiving.  I want to go nontraditional, but my family isn't having that.  Moo has already put in her request for pie, collard greens and green beans topped with French's Fried Onions (she can't have the cream of mushroom due to allergies).  So, for now my Thanksgiving menu just has turkey, collard greens and pie on it.  Oh, I can't forget about the Mr's stuffing.  He'd have a cow if I didn't make some and a brown gravy to go along with it.

Kellan Lutz is so hot!  I saw this picture on floating around Twitter this week.  I was tempted to set it as my main wallpaper on my phone, but that space is reserved for the kiddies.  Maybe, I can set for my lock screen?  Anyways, he was always my first choice to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades movie.  And with that role already filled, I have him pegged as my first choice to play Gideon Cross in the Crossfire series TV movies.

I don't even know how they're going to make the Crossfire series PG enough to air on TV.  Maybe, they'll be on HBO or something.  If you haven't read the Crossfire series by Sandra Day, you should.  If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey, then you'll like this series too.

Remember, last week when I said that I was going to step out the box in terms of natural hair styles?  Well, I attempted the style above and it did not come out well.  My hair refused to lay right.  It was just frustrating.  I'm on to the next style though.  Hopefully, I'll have better luck with it.

Christmas movies have officially started playing on Hallmark and Lifetime!  I love it.  I watched The Christmas Blessing last night and it had me balling like a baby.  Seriously, this movie is so touching and so emotional at the end.  You'll definitely need a box of tissues.

Seeing all of my family and friends with their new bundles of joy has given me Baby Fever.  Not going to lie a part of me would love to be pregnant by Christmas, but the Mr and I agreed to start trying the end of next year.  Plus, we might be looking into adoption since our chances of having another baby with a lot of allergies is pretty high.  I can't even wrap my head around having three children with severe food and environmental allergies.

Also, I know the Mr has said he'll be good after baby number three, but I kind of want twins.  That would put us at four kids.  Just something about having a big family that comforts me.  Now if only we could win the lottery to buy for their college educations!

  1. I'm thankful for picture number 2!!!!

My hat goes off to you all that like large families. I have really been thinking about having more kids and I am good at 2. I am glad my SIL is having a baby so at least there will be a little baby within my reach. I am really done. I know people always wonder about their children's college education. I think my Mr. and I are weird, we don't plan on paying for college. We just hope to support them in their educational path so that they have scholarships and the money we save will be used for their housing expenses etc. I sure hope it works out that way!
