Still Around

I'm feeling Fifty Shades of Tired. Literally. This week started off long. Saturday, we headed to my mom's to visit. That same day JJ got a fever and became unusually cranky.

Signs of another teething spell coming on. Needless to say, I would much rather be in the comforts of my own home and he would too. So, I haven't had a good night of sleep yet! I feel like a walking zombie. That explains why I haven't posted in three days.

And to make matters worst, Moo jumped on the sleep boycott too these two nights. She refused to go to sleep Monday night unless we went home. And she had nightmares about my mom's dog. So, it has been a rough couple of days.

However, our time here hasn't been all bad. Moo has had fun playing with my niece and seeing Grandma. I have really enjoyed hanging out with my little sister and having someone else cook for a change.

Let's hope tonight I can get at least five hours of sleep.

What have you all been up to?

  1. Oh man, sounds like things have been busy for you! Enjoy your time with your family. Isn't it nice when someone else cooks!! You're lucky, my Mom rarely cooks for me, which is not the best! Hang in there, the teething will subside and Moo has to sleep sometime!!!

    1. Yes, I am lucky. It was great turning over the cooking to my mom and baby sister!

  2. Five hours is what I average. I was so excited when I knew I could count it. Now I'm greedy. I want more sleep!

    1. Oh wow, I would be greedy too. I usually average 7 to 8. I'm hoping we can get back to that soon!

    1. Spending time with my mom is always great and such a blessing. Here's to hoping that you'll be blessed to get a few more hours of sleep because five is too little.

  4. I think every little one goes through bouts of not sleeping the way we need them to! Even my big 4 year old has suddenly developed this new habit of waking up at 6:45... ON WEEKENDS! *sigh*
