The mission of Oxfam International is to fight poverty and injustice throughout the world by working "together internationally to achieve greater impact by their collective efforts."
Why You Should Support Them
There are still hundreds of under developed countries in this world that are fighting extreme poverty and injustices. Don't agree? Well, all you have to do is turn on the world news and you'll hear about it. Well, Oxfam works with these impoverished countries to fight poverty by not only introducing them to new long term programs to combat their poverty but they also provide training and working one on one with that countries government.
Oxfam also comes to the rescue for impoverished countries during natural disasters and emergencies. They provide fresh water, hygiene kits and aid in reconstruction efforts.
